The company does not issue cards. Visa Inc (V.xnys) is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), the Standard and Poor’s 500 (S&P-500) and the Standard and Poor’s 100 (S&P-100), the company’s market cap are $508.95B (USD). Visa stock is highly traded, with 6.6M shares exchanges daily. After the United States Dollar stable-coin (USDC cryptocurrency) was fully backed by the US dollar, VISA announced that it would become the first major payments network to settle transactions in USD Coin. During the pandemic, VISA payments volume and processed transactions are improving fast, the fact that is more likely to continue due to shifting to e-commerce. The food and drug stores category has returned to growth and health care, education, and government. Other categories such as travel, fuel, restaurants, and entertainment - which consist one-third of the company’s payment volume - seem to be almost eradicated by the pandemic. Furthermore, VISA’s recent acquisitions and partnerships with Tink and Brazil’s WhatsApp (through Facebook) will probably bring in more than 250 million customers across more than 3,400 banks and financial institutions in Europe and more than 120 million users, respectively. However, V.xnys stock ranks 19th - according to IBD's payment processing group - and seems to have a long way to go until it can stand up to IBD’s no.1 PayPal stock and no.2 Square stock. The downtrend in universal development and consumer spending would be a major risk to Visa stock.
